My last post I asked you to find your passion. I even gave suggestions of what some could be. What I didn't do is tell you how to find it. We'll see if we can make some headway in finding your passion today.
What do I do to find my passion?
Everyone tends to go about this in different ways. What works for one may not work for others. Generally, you can find your passion in a lot of ways. Most of the time though you will find out that you already know what it is. It's that little voice, nagging, nudging you that has been around for as long as you can remember. It's what you love to do and when you do that activity time seems to stand still.
Tip:
You can try multiple ways to see if you end up with the same passion. I know when I was trying to find mine, I came up with the same general passion every time. I say general because it all revolves around the idea of creating, inspiring, and teaching.
Here’s how to do it:
Brainstorm a list of all the things you love to do.
Go back to your list and add those things you love but believe you are not good at doing.
Leave your list for a day.
Look at your list and pick 2-4 that really stand out. These are the ones you seem to come back to ALWAYS.
These few are your passions.
Everyday do something that involves your passion.
I know, you are saying you don't have time. You do. You have time for what you choose to make time for. Remember schedule time for you and don't ever cancel on yourself.
